PARENTS of children with special needs claimed the youngsters’ education was under threat if plans to shut their school went ahead.

More than half the pupils at Gadburn Primary School, for youngsters with additional support needs, were in mainstream education.

But, parents claimed, their children were subjected to serious bullying and moved to Gadburn. Glasgow City Council planned to shut the school.
