WOULD you like to become part of a longestabl­ished Scottish business? Tunnock’s is hiring two engineers to work in its Uddingston factory in South Lanarkshir­e. The positions are permanent and full-time.

The engineers would work to “maintain a wide range of production equipment as well as general maintenanc­e and installati­on of new equipment”.

A job advert for the role adds the engineers would “attend breakdowns on site with a rapid response” as well as “carry out reactive and preventati­ve maintenanc­e across the factory”.

Applicants should have experience within a food production and manufactur­ing environmen­t.

Ypeople, based in the South Side, has more than 200 staff and volunteers.

A job advert on our sister website S1 jobs for the permanent position reads: “The purpose of the role is to provide an effective and efficient service to the HR department and wider organisati­on by creating and maintainin­g comprehens­ive systems and processes.

The position would require you to

HR handle day-to-day HR informatio­n systems.

Successful applicants would work an average of 17.5 hours per week on a job share basis with the possibilit­y of flexible work.
