Car and cyclist in road crash

A CYCLIST was involved in a crash in Rutherglen on Thursday night.

Officers attended at Greenhill Road, near the junction with Mill Street, at around 7.30pm on Thursday.

Ambulance crews also attended and the cyclist was checked at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were made aware of a crash involving a car and a cyclist on Greenhill Road. The cyclist was checked at the scene by the ambulance service.”
