£400k worth of drugs found

AN alleged cannabis cultivatio­n worth more than £400,000 was discovered in Pollok.

Cops reportedly found the drugs after a raid at a premises on Barnbeth Road.

Officers executed a search warrant at around 9am on Thursday morning.

The street value of the cannabis is estimated at £420,000.

A Police Scotland spokeswoma­n said: “Around 9am on Thursday, June 17, officers executed a search warrant at a premises on Barnbeth Road in Glasgow and discovered a cannabis cultivatio­n with an estimated street value of £420,000.

“Inquiries are ongoing.”
