£420,000 worth of drugs seized

MORE than £400,000 worth of drugs have been seized in Parkhouse by police after a “pre-planned operation”.

Police officers found £420,000 worth of heroin and cocaine at a property on Crowhill Street.

The raid saw a 35-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man arrested and charged in connection with the haul.

The 35-year-old woman and 31-year-old man are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
