No fire injuries

NO injuries were reported following a house fire near Hampden on Thursday.

Emergency services rushed to the home on Aikenhead Road at 5.27pm.

Fire crews left after making the area safe.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman added: “Operations control mobilised two appliances and one aerial rescue pump and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting the first floor of a two-storey property.

“There were no reported casualties.”
