Spirits ‘high’ at Silverburn

SOUTH Side shopping centre Silverburn helped to ‘lift’ Scotland fans spirits – with a balloon-banner over the centre.

The 55ft banner, created by HeliKite, sailed above Silverburn Shopping Centre in Pollok, with the phrase ‘Yes Sir, I Can Boogie’ ahead of the eagerly anticipated showdown last night with England.

Silverburn general manager David Pierotti said: “There’s never been a better time for the country to show its community spirit after a very challenging year, so we hope this brought a smile to faces across the city and beyond.”
