How can FM be worried when she allowed fan zone?

-

CHANGES to the current route map out of lockdown due to variant fears, what fears (Covid: Scotland ‘unlikely’ to ease lockdown until late July, Nicola Sturgeon confirms, Glasgow Times online)?

How can Ms Sturgeon possibly be worried about any particular variant when she lowered Glasgow’s level purely to accommodate football.

How can she be worried about any variant when allowing thousands into the fan zone daily without testing.

CURRENTLY case rates are similar to, or lower in London than Glasgow.

So maybe not such a problem.

If Scotland had been able to close the border back in April and stopped or reduced the number of people with the Delta variant entering the country without ensuring that they were properly quarantined, then it might have been a different story. Alan Thompson

LOTS of people go on about closing the border but how exactly does that get done, given that there is more than one way into Scotland and an under-manned police force?

Plus we need the supermarket/ shop supplies to keep arriving here. Nancy Drew

THIS is First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s chance to prove she is doing things differently and proceed with unlocking the country, she won’t though!

TERRIBLE decision. Businesses like this should be given a break (Council axe Eusebi’s ‘eyesore’ outdoor seating area over catalogue of problems, Friday).

GREAT to see the largest Glasgow Orange Parade may be taking place this year.

If those who moan about it would actually educate themselves into the origins and history of it and see it for the excellent spectacle of culture and music it is they would enjoy it.

To do this though they would have to remove their bigoted spectacles and listen to the excellent musicians and look at the colourful flags. To claim it as anti-catholic is lazy and narrowminded.
