Never say never again

Way back in 1990 I read a review of the Lancia Thema 16v Turbo in Motor Sport magazine, and bought one.

The turbo lag was obscene. The first time it rained there was a lake in the passenger footwell, and when I pressed the electric window switch the window fell out. I vowed never to be persuaded again by a magazine review.

But recently it happened again – with a different result, thankfully! Having read your reviews of the Honda Civic Type R, I have bought one. The car is absolutely amazing and is all you said it would be. I drove home today in torrential rain with absolutely zero anxiety.
