Happy snapper
Following on from David Hawkes’ recent letter (Inbox, issue 296) about the ‘Life Through a Lens’ series, I too wanted to pass on my thanks to the evo team for running it and hope you’ll continue to do so as long as you can.
I’ve never been that interested in photography other than looking at (and longing after) the cars shown in the excellent pictures throughout evo’s pages. However, when reading the varied and interesting stories of the photographers you’ve featured it’s sparked a passion in me I never knew I had.
Previously photography by me was nothing more than a quick snap on a smartphone. Now I’ve started researching camera equipment, when I’m out and about I’m looking at landscapes in new and different ways, and I’m even looking into courses to learn the basics.
Since I stupidly don’t keep old copies of the mag, if you ever compile all the stories into one publication, maybe along with tips and more photos from the pros, I’ll be at the front of the queue to get one.
Thank you evo and all the photographers who have shared their passion so far.
