Six months af­ter the event of the year, aka the Royal Wed­ding, the Duchess of Sus­sex’s wed­ding dress is on show at Wind­sor Cas­tle to 6 Jan­uary 2019. Dis­played in the Grand Re­cep­tion Room, dis­cover the dress’s hid­den cou­ture se­crets and the crafts­man­ship of the del­i­cate silk tulle veil. Glit­ter­ing in the spot­light is her loaned di­a­mond tiara – de­signed for Queen Mary in 1932, it has never been ex­hib­ited be­fore. Also for in­spec­tion is a copy of the Duke’s Blues and Roy­als frock­coat uni­form.
