A Very Happy Little World

Subtitled ‘One hundred and fifty years of sailing on the Thames’, with a foreward by HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Although it’s nominally about Thames Sailing Club it is in fact an excellent and very well illustrated history of recreational sailing on the Thames. I must declare an interest as I did much of the fact checking and also supplied some of the photos of the 1890s, as well as featuring in some of the newer photos.

The book includes over 200 pages and 400 photos and illustrations and covers a comprehensive history of the last 150 years of sailing on the Thames. It has been published to coincide with the 150th anniversary of Thames Sailing Club.
