New features announced for version 8 of Roots Magic

The new version of Roots Magic has just been released and Uk-based users can look forward to tailored new features to help make the platform easier to use when researching British ancestors

The new version includes UK date formats (with support for BMD Quarter dates), UK source templates and three months’ online access to census and BMDS for England and Wales. Among the new features are the ability to open more than one ancestor’s edit screen at a time, the option to save reports and charts into newer, more compatible versions, and new wallcharts and fan charts.

Rootsmagic UK Platinum is available as a download (£49.95) or on a USB memory stick (£54.95), with the standard edition priced at £39.95 and £44.95 respectively. The basic edition is priced £29.95.
