Not all the kirk session records are available yet, though Scotlandspeople have made commendable progress and there are certainly a good many for us to look at, with the hope that the rest will be there fairly soon.

These records are not indexed. That is the bad news. The good news is that you don’t know till you look at them what nuggets of pure gold are there, so Scotlandspeople allow us to browse them free of charge. If you find a record that is relevant to you, you can of course download it and pay for it (Price: 2 credits).
