This report is from our friends at the Science Museum, part of the Science Museum Group.

THE Science Museum will be screening the muchanticipated next Stars Wars film from 14 December.

It will be the only cinema in the UK where you can watch Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi in exciting 70mm 2D.

The saga continues as we re-join Rey on her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker. Mark Hamill returns as Luke, while Carrie Fisher also appears for the final time as General Leia.

At the Science Museum IMAX you’ll be able to watch 40% more film image than in standard cinemas, for a truly immersive experience. IMAX 70mm film combines the clearest images at almost ten times the resolution of standard 2k digital projection, with specially-created sound making you feel like you’re right there in the centre of the action.

Tickets are £16.50 for adults and £12.50 for concessions. Seetarwars.
