A BAKEWELL pudding became lost in space last week!

The sweet treat was launched into the stratosphere by pupils at S Anselm’s Preparatory School in Derbyshire as part of a science experiment.

It was attached to a balloon and a tracking device, but then lost contact somewhere near Lincoln.

The school hopes that when it turns up (which hopefully it will!) someone will contact them to let them know where it finished its journey.

They aren’t sure whether it will be frozen when it lands, or if it’ll still be edible!

The experiment isn’t just about learning though – it’s also helping to raise money for the Guide Dogs for the

Blind charity.
