MINECRAFT’S Better Together update has finally launched.
Xbox, Switch, mobile and PC players can now all play Minecraft together as if they were on the same platform, thanks to the new free update.
For a long time, gamers could only dream of a game that let you play on lots of different platforms – but with Rocket League, Fortnite (PEGI 12+) and now Minecraft all supporting it, things are really changing.
Changing for everyone... except for Sony and the PlayStation 4. Rather than make things better ‘For The Players’, the company has refused to allow the PS4 to join in with the Switch and the Xbox.
The launch of Fortnite for Nintendo Switch, and the ability for Nintendo fans to play with PC and Xbox One owners – but not PlayStation – has caused outrage among fans.
Capitalising on the outrage, the advert for Minecraft’s new crossplatform play shows a Switch player and an Xbox player having loads of fun together. Will Sony change their stance?
