FOOTIE FEVER

First News - - CRAZY BUT TRUE -

A JUNIOR football club from Stockport has created its very own football sticker album – just like the famous Panini one!

Around 200 players and their coaches at Rose Hill JFC have been immortalised in sticker form for the album.

The idea was inspired by the famous Panini football stickers that feature Premier League and international stars.

Rose Hill JFC’s chairman, Jaume Pijoan, had seen junior teams in Spain make their own albums and decided to introduce the idea here in the UK.

The album and stickers will be sold in several local shops to help raise money for the club. Players will be able to buy, swap and collect stickers of themselves and their team-mates.

James, who plays for the under-9s team, said: “It’s wonderful having our own junior sticker album. Not many other children can say that they have a sticker of themselves. I FEEL LIKE A LEGEND!”
