THE MAN WHO BECAME A GOAT
THIS week we learnt all about a man who became a goat!
British designer and writer Thomas Thwaites wanted to see what life would be like living as an animal.
The project saw him head to a farm in the Alps to join a herd of goats. He built a goat exoskeleton (disguise), complete with artificial legs, helmet, chest protector and prosthetic goat stomach. He then took to four legs and mimicked the behaviour of his fellow animals.
Throughout the whole process, Thomas was also busy researching more on life as a goat, talking to animal behaviourists and goat sanctuary workers.
The research was all put together for a book named GoatMan.
The goat exoskeleton is currently on display at a big exhibition called the Milan Triennial.
