Aquaponics workshop to be held in the UK
ONE of the first commercial aquaponics workshops to be held in the UK will be staged in Devon in August.
Organised by marine consultants Macalister Elliott and Partners and Aquaponic Solutions (Australia), the two-day course will focus on the design and business aspects of aquaponics.
The course will be led by one of the world’s leading authorities on aquaponics, Dr Wilson Lennard, and will provide the attendees with the knowledge required to design, construct and run a commercial recirculating aquaponics farm.
The workshop will be run at Bicton EARTH training college, a UK hub for Environmental and Renewable Technologies, in Budleigh, Devon, on 26 and 27 August and will cost £650 per delegate (to include lunch, tea and coffee both days).
