About to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Meercat Workboats has established itself as a leading workboat builder with their vessel particularly well suited to the varied nature of work on a fish farm. The driving principle behind the Meercat design was to create a well-engineered, user friendly and robust steel workboat with a clear working deck that can be tailored to the clients’ specification.
The Meercat RT18 (18m x 8m) can carry over 50 tonnes of dry or liquid cargo and has either single or twin 40 tonne/metre cranes on deck; and being classified as MCA Workboat Code (cat 2) can venture up to 60 nautical miles from a safe haven.
