£1m award for Scottish researchers

RESEARCH projects focused on addressing key challenges to the aquaculture sector have been awarded nearly £1 million in funding.

The projects, by researchers at the University of the Highlands and Islands, are part of a national aquaculture research programme.

‘This is a fantastic endorsement of the standard and distinction of research across the University of the Highlands and Islands,’ said Michael Rayner, dean of research.
