BAP team to visit Chile
AQUACULTURE companies interested in learning more about the advantages of the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) third-party certification programme are invited to attend a one-day seminar at the Puerto Montt Manquehue Hotel in Puerto Montt, Chile, on July 28.
The seminar is part of the inaugural ‘BAP Made In’ campaign, the aim of which is to unite farmers, processors and other stakeholders behind the concept of responsible aquaculture and third-party certification, and to educate them on the latest BAP initiatives.
A division of the Global Aquaculture Alliance, BAP is the world’s most comprehensive third-party aquaculture certification programme, with standards encompassing the entire production chain, including farms, processing plants, hatcheries and feed mills.
