Angus Morgan gains honour

ANGUS Morgan, marketing director of Marine Harvest Ltd, has been made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List, in recognition of his services to salmon farming in Scotland.

One of the most experienced marketing specialists in the salmon farming industry, he was appointed general manager of the first commercial development phase of Marine Harvest in 1974. He has taken a leading role in developing industry associations and generic marketing initiatives, which have helped the Scottish industry attain a farm gate value of over £140 million.

Mr Morgan was a founding member of the Scottish Salmon Growers Association in 1980.
