Global seafood demand ‘outstripping supply’

Clearwater, which acquired Scotland’s announced results for the third quarter of this year showing a 29 per cent increase in sales to $189.5 million and a 16 per cent rise in adjusted EBITDA to $45.2 million.
The company said demand has been driven consumer tastes towards healthier diets, and the rising purchasing power of middle class consumers in emerging economies.
Clearwater said: ‘The supply of wild seafood behind the growing global demand.’
