Prize hat-trick for SSC
THE Scottish Salmon Company (SSC) won three awards at the Highlands & Islands Food and Drink Awards, recognising its achievements in exporting, innovation and new product development.
SSC was named winner of the Export Award and in the Innovation and New Product Award category for its Native Hebridean Salmon, at a ceremony in Inverness last month.
Craig Anderson, chief executive, said: ‘To win three awards is a fantastic achievement.We are very proud to have been recognised for our commitment not just to provenance and innovation, but in helping to grow the impact of Scotland’s food and drink industry around the world.
‘To win in the New Product category for our Native Hebridean Salmon is particularly special for us.’
