ALPHA JECT micro 1 PD vaccine: Pharmaq correction

PHARMAQ would like to make a correction to a recent article in Fish Farmer (June 2019,Volume 42).

We would like to advise readers that reduction in viremia and viral shedding mentioned in the above magazine article is not a licensed indication for ALPHA JECT micro 1 PD.

The SPC states that ALPHA JECT micro 1 PD is approved for:

Active immunisation of Atlantic salmon to reduce mortality, lesions in the heart and pancreas, and impaired growth caused by pancreas disease (PD).

We trust the above clarifies the claims for the vaccine ALPHA JECT micro 1 PD.
