Mowi promotes Diez-Padrisa to health role
MOWI Scotland’s Production Director, Meritxell Diez-Padrisa, is to take up a new role as the company’s Fish Health Director as from May. Stepping into her position as Production Director is Roar Paulsen, currently Production Director for Lerøy Midt AS.
In her new position, Diez-Padrisa will oversee fish health programmes in all regions for the company. A veterinarian and fish health expert, she has been Production Director at Mowi Scotland since February 2020 and has overseen significant biological improvements in farming during this period.
Mowi said the company seeks to benefit from her expertise in the other farming regions, alongside continued improvements to its operations in Scotland.
Roar Paulsen will be based in Fort William, Scotland. He will be responsible for all farming activities. Sean Anderson will continue to deputise for the Production Director and oversee Marine Operations, and he will also take responsibility for Purchasing.
