Head to Exmoor this October and November for the Dark Skies Festival. Starting on 17 October, it’s 16 days packed full of astrophotography workshops, campouts, wild swimming and night walks. But if you can’t make it to Exmoor, there are plenty of other spots to see the stars. Just head to the dark patches on this light pollution map, spread out a picnic blanket and let your eyes adjust.
