Giant rat of Abercych

The “giant rat” on display that was really a coypu [FT397:70] reminded me of a creature that scared the village of Abercych in the 1950s until it was killed with a pitchfork and identified as a South American coypu. The stuffed rodent resides in the village pub, the Nag’s Head.
