Cyberpunk 2077, due for release on December 10th, is one the most hotly anticipated action role playing video games ever created. The game has been developed by Polish studio CD Projekt Red who are responsible for the epic Witcher 3 – Wild Hunt, a game that some consider to be the best RPG ever made.

So, with such a high benchmark to maintain what can we hope to see in this new action-packed futuristic offering? Well for one we know that the game is set across several districts within Night City, a vast and open-ended world which sees you as the player embarking on a dangerous journey to uncover the secrets of immortality.

The game promises a world full of unknown threats, weird and wonderful characters, not to mention film mega star Keanu Reeves and a huge narrative full of intriguing plot twists and turns. The game is also punctuated by meaningful dialogue choices and every characters view of you is reflected by each decision you make, no matter how small.

Creating your character is also major part of the game and is chock full of customisation options, meaning you’ll end up spending a fair bit of time designing your avatar before you even get into the main game itself. The game also promises diversity the likes of which has never been seen before when it comes to character creation, a great thing in this modern era.

Overall Cyberpunk 2077 looks set to be one truly memorable RPG experience with its boundary pushing open world design, storytelling and in-depth character creation. One that we are definitely looking forward to getting our mitts on here at Fusion.
