The FUSION Guide to JUNGLE GAMES

Welcome to the jungle! Or at least the Fusion jungle, where in this issue we look to celebrate some of gaming's best jungle levels and experiences. Done right, there's no denying that jungles can make for some pretty memorable and immersive gaming experiences and as a minimum they should at least feature some of the following: dense foliage, steamy tropical haze, wild animals, unruly natives, hostile mercenaries or soldiers, some ancient ruins and of course vines for climbing and swinging on.

While there are simply too many games that feature the jungle criteria above to mention, in the pages that follow you'll find some my own personal favourites that I've had the pleasure of playing over the years.

Beware though — the jungle can be a beautiful but also deadly place so please do mind your step and don't become too distracted by the spectacular views. Now, with that all said its time to dress in your best khaki outfit, don your safari hat and slap on some insect repellent, as we take a look back at some game-defining jungle-inspired moments.
