Tecmo World Cup '93 Match Day

Jon Ritman did very well to get two games into the quarter-finals, but he goes no further. Match Day may have been a ground breaking football game on the Spectrum, but it's simply no match for the Master System's much more playable effort. Still, at least Speccy fans have a game in the semis. No real shocks there, to be honest. Spectrum fans will be disappointed to see both Match Day games go out, but in their heart of hearts, they'll know that both games fall a little short of true greatness.
