Emlyn Hughes International Soccer Tecmo World Cup '93

Initially, TWC ‘93 looks like it'll be the runaway winner. Based on Tecmo's earlier arcade game, initially, it looks the business and is great fun to play. After a while, though, its limitations come through, and it feels like you're playing the same game over and over again. Emlyn Hughes’ International Soccer starts as a clear underdog. At first glance, you'd take this for Commodore's classic game, but it's vastly improved in almost every way. The graphics are much faster, and the gameplay is greatly enhanced, with slide tackles, headers, many more passing angles and a full eleven players per side. An absolute wealth of options round things out perfectly, leaving Emlyn Hughes to hoist the trophy aloft!
