Why are the leaves changing on my acer?

AYour acer ‘Trompenburg’ is just having a growth spurt and although the new foliage is brighter and larger than the rest, it’s not abnormal. It may be necessary to prune it to balance the shape of the plant, but wait and see what happens first.
