ABamboos often start to run (produce new shoots away from the main plant) when established, especially in warm weather. Being a grass, it’s very vulnerable to treatment – use a glyphosatebased weedkiller. You may need to spray several times and it won’t die attractively! This is the best way to ensure the roots don’t resprout. Finally, dig out the dead clump.
