The size and depth of the tread not only gives the boards their characteristic look, but also affects their anti-slip properties

BOARD SIZE

Longer and wider boards speed up construction time, but make sure they’re consistent with the size of the overall project and don’t look out of proportion

TREAD DESIGN

Reversible boards with different tread designs provide more design flexibility and better levels of grip

THICKNESS

Thicker boards are stronger than thinner ones, can take more weight, and are less likely to twist or warp over time
