Aster & hylotelephium

Aster amellus ‘Veilchenkönigin’ is a fine droughtresistant partner for Hylotelephium telephium ‘Karfunkelstein’. Both are the same height (H and S40cm/16in), and thrive in well-drained soil and full sun. The burgundy stems and moody blues make a sumptuous combination Aug-Sept, with the sedum flowers ageing gracefully into winter.
