KIRENGESHOMA PALMATA
This unusual woodland plant flowers between June and August when other woodlanders are over. Almost-black stems are covered in drooping, pale yellow trumpet-shaped flowers with a waxy texture. Needs an acidic to neutral soil that’s moist but well-drained. Dig in lots of well-rotted compost or leafmould when planting and mulch every spring. H1m (3ft 3in) S50cm (20in)
