An Indian summer may bring pleasantly warm days and lots of sunshine, but as the clocks go back and days shorten, frosts are likely. The first of the autumn storms may also sweep in from the Atlantic, so now’s the time to prepare the garden for the months ahead and to make the most of any good weather.
