These delicate-looking pink beauties keep going to the first frosts in a mild autumn, putting on a fabulously upbeat show. Here we’ve plumped for aster ‘Patricia Ballard’ for its eye-catching semi-double flowers, Japanese anemone ‘Königin Charlotte’ and soft pink chrysanthemum ‘Breitner Dark’. Upright grasses add a statuesque backdrop: the silky flowers of miscanthus ‘Malepartus’ have a pink autumn tint, too.
