In this Christ­massy com­bi­na­tion, Picea glauca ‘Con­ica’ and acid-lov­ing, red-berried Gaulthe­ria procum­bens give a fes­tive note. The picea adds height – planted out it can reach H4m (13ft) S3m (10ft). Fol­low­ing its small white to pale-pink flow­ers (May-Jun), gaulthe­ria’s glossy berries last well into win­ter.
