Q Will my lupins need protection over winter?

ALupins can be left in the soil over winter. They’re perfectly hardy but may suffer in wet, clay soils. The main problem is that snails will attack the plants in spring as soon as the new shoots appear. Give them some slug protection or they may disappear!
