Back-up bacopa
Q How can I overwinter and propagate bacopa?
ASome bacopa (sutera) can be grown from seed while others are sterile and have to be propagated by cuttings. In mild winters it may survive outside but usually it needs protection. If your plant is in a pot, move it into a bright greenhouse or conservatory and water it lightly; it may survive. Cuttings root readily from young shoots, so select some new growth when you prune back the old plants in spring.
