Repot orchids

-

If your plant no longer fits in its existing pot, move up a pot size.

Remove the plant.

Take the orchid out of its pot and untangle the roots. Cut off any shrivelled dead roots.

Repot into fresh compost.

Hold the plant level in its empty pot, then fill around with fresh orchid compost.

Pack tightly and water to moisten roots.

Spray leaves and roots with plant tonic such as Orchid Myst (£5.99 for 300ml spray).

?? ?? Orchids benefit from repotting every couple of years to keep them healthy and flowering well.
