HOTEL DU WINE RACK

We really enjoyed Adrian Thomas’ feature on life inside the insect hotel (Jan p65). Following his advice, we’ve moved ours to a south- facing wall a couple of feet off the ground and it’s been very busy indeed this winter! It’s made from recycled items – an old bulb box, charity shop wine rack filled with old canes, straw, drilled wood offcuts and half an old tree protector as a roof. Mandy Persey, by email
