Tidy up cyclamen

Keep an eye on cyclamen plants that are both indoors and outdoors or fungal moulds and rots can occur. Tidy up all the old, dead leaves and deadhead old flowers. Uncover outdoor cyclamen from any windfalls or tree leaf drop overhead. Mulch plants with chipped bark in the garden; it keeps moisture in, protects the crown area and provides a cosy, cool spot for the plants’ seed pods that curl downwards into the soil to germinate in later months.
