Treat wooden structures

-

It’s important to treat wooden structures on a regular basis to prevent them rotting, especially if they’re made from soft wood. Even when pressure treated timber is used, it’s still a good idea to give a protective coating of wood stain preservative on a regular basis for extra protection. In order for the treatment to soak in, choose a dry day and give all surfaces a good covering. This instantly freshens up the structure and will make it more water repellent over winter. An annual coat will also increase the life of the timber by several years.
