Pre-drilled stone water feature

-

If your garden is short on space a compact water feature might be just the ticket. One of the nicest ways to do this is with a pre-drilled stone, monolith rock or large cobble from which water emerges. Features such as these can be nestled into a cluster of stones sat on top of steel mesh over a water sump. As the water emerges from the drilled stone it tumbles down over it into the sump below, from where it’s re-pumped back through the stone. It has quite a natural look and wildlife such as bees will come and drink from areas of the stone covered in a fine layer of water. These pre-drilled stones are available online from companies such as www. stonewarehouse.co.uk. They’re easy to set up and sound as good as they look.
