Help the little ones out
What does that all mean for us garden bird fans? Well, most of us are hoping to give a little extra to all the birds that visit our gardens, including the tiddlers at the bottom of the pecking order. You can do a little to even things up by simply not putting all your eggs in one basket. By that I mean rather than having one big hanging feeder that the dominant birds can monopolise, use a number of smaller ones and hang them here and there around your garden. It will help ensure that all your diners get a decent meal.
